Jan Rodgers, pony of the Americas breeder in eastern Washington near Spokane, WA, cares for her herd on a family farm. She has been breeding pony of the Americas for over ten years and follows guidelines from the Pony of the Americas Club while working with veterinarians on routine health evaluations. Foals are raised in open pastures with daily handling to foster calm temperaments and adaptability around people.

Jan values early socialization and basic training to prepare young ponies for diverse roles from trail riding to youth shows. Several of her ponies have earned ribbons at county 4-H fairs and found homes in therapeutic riding programs. All brood mares undergo genetic testing for common equine conditions and receive balanced nutrition from grass pastures supplemented with forage and grains.
