Holly Buroker raises registered dairy goats in Bellefontaine, Ohio, a rural community in Logan County in the west-central part of the state, roughly an hour northwest of Columbus. The herd at Hoanbu Dairy Goats is made up of Nubians, Saanens, and Alpines, with a long-standing focus on show-quality animals bred from proven bloodlines rather than purchased champions.

The name Hoanbu traces back to Holly's years as a 4-H member growing up on a family farm in Logan County, formed from the first two letters of her given names. That roots-in-the-county history carries through to the herd's feed program: hay is grown by the family on a neighboring farm and the goats are fed alfalfa as a foundation of their diet.

Hoanbu is an active show herd, traveling to roughly ten to twelve shows per year across Ohio and beyond. A notable benchmark came at the 2011 ADGA National Show, where the herd earned first place in the Nubian dairy herd class, with does sired by a herdsire recognized as ADGA National Premier Nubian Sire in both 2010 and 2011. Breeding stock and semen have been sold across the country, with buyers sourcing dairy goat crosses and registered animals from this Logan County farm for many years.
