Hilltop Highlands Cattle Co.

Hilltop Highlands Cattle Co. is a Scottish highland cattle breeder in Concord, NC, in Cabarrus County in Piedmont near Charlotte. Paul Denson has spent more than ten years breeding Scottish highland cattle and holds membership with the American Highland Cattle Association. All breeding stock is registered, and calves participate in a trace-back program to support herd integrity.

All cows and bulls undergo routine health testing for BVD, Johne’s disease, and parasite control to ensure a sturdy herd. Animals graze on mixed pasture grasses and are rotated seasonally to maintain healthy soil and forage.

Calves are raised alongside their mothers and enjoy daily human interaction to support gentle temperaments.
