Keith Johnson and his wife built the ranch from the ground up, relocating from Western Washington to pursue a cattle operation and document the process along the way.

Founded in 2020, the ranch offers both registered and unregistered Highland cattle, and the operation holds membership in the Northwest Highland Cattle Association. The herd also includes Highland x Galloway crosses, produced by pairing Highland bulls with Galloway cows. Hay for the ranch is harvested directly from their Eastern Washington fields.
