The herd has historically run groups of twelve to twenty intact males, and the animals are conditioned through real trail work in the high-altitude mountains of western Wyoming. Highline Trail Llamas has also been a member of the Rocky Mountain Llama and Alpaca Association since 2005, reflecting a long-standing connection to the broader working-llama community.
