Hickory's Bunnies

Hickory's Bunnies, netherland dwarf rabbits, Gainesville, FL, is based in north central Florida near Jacksonville. Trudy Bonerba has spent more than a decade developing breeding lines that reflect ARBA standards and she follows guidance from the American Rabbit Breeders Association for regular health screenings and wellness checks. Rabbits live in climate-controlled indoor hutches that are cleaned daily and feature fresh bedding and constant access to water. Daily socialization with family members and supervised free-range sessions in a secure outdoor run help young rabbits develop calm temperaments and social skills. Trudy works closely with a local veterinarian to ensure proper nutrition, combining timothy hay, fresh vegetables and a measured pellet mix, and she occasionally hosts educational workshops on rabbit care for local youth. Each rabbit receives daily handling to promote trust and ease transition to a new home.
