Heart & Soul Alpacas and Guest Cabins raises suri and huacaya alpacas in Whitehall, Montana, a small community in the Jefferson River Valley of southwestern Montana, roughly 30 miles from Butte. Russell Ratti and Karen Ball founded the ranch in 2010 by merging two separate alpaca operations into a single program with a combined herd.

The ranch focuses on show-quality animals from champion lines across both alpaca breeds, and also offers mentorship for newer breeders entering the alpaca community.
