Hawk Nest Farm

Hawk Nest Farm raises Wagyu cattle in Limestone, TN, in Washington County and the Appalachian Ridge-and-Valley near Johnson City. The farm has been raising these cattle for over a decade, holding membership in the American Wagyu Association and the Tennessee Cattlemen’s Association, and all breeding animals undergo parentage verification and genetic screening.

The herd lives on rotationally grazed pastures and calves are handled daily to support calm temperament and easy processing. Winter barns with bedding and open-sided shelters keep animals comfortable. Supplemental mineral programs follow veterinary guidelines and water sources are tested monthly for mineral levels.

Selection emphasizes genetics that promote fine marbling and grass finishing, with an aim toward sustainable land use and flavorful beef. Customer feedback often highlights the tenderness and consistent quality of their meat. A small on-site cutting facility provides traceability from pasture to plate.
