Harness Creek Retrievers

Harness Creek Retrievers has been breeding and training chocolate Labrador retrievers in Union City, Tennessee since 1968, originally operating under the name Lynnbrook Retrievers. Tom and Lisa Neel run the program out of western Tennessee, roughly an hour north of Jackson, in the heart of the state's duck and upland hunting country.

The program has a strong field-trial and hunt-test focus, having produced numerous field champion Labrador retrievers along with capable gun dogs used for both waterfowl and upland game hunting. While all colors of Labrador retrievers are part of the breeding stock, chocolate Labs are the clear specialty, with pedigrees built around proven chocolate field champions.

Selective breeding at Harness Creek aims to produce dogs that are genetically sound and competitive in performance venues.
