Halo Ranch Alpacas
Halo Ranch Alpacas raises suri alpacas in West Linn, Oregon, situated in the Willamette Valley south of Portland. Jessica and Zachary Hackett manage the herd alongside their family, carrying forward a program that was originally founded in 2012 by Zach and his father, Steve Hackett.
From the start, the focus has been on producing high-quality suri alpacas, and the ranch has built a competitive record to reflect that commitment. Halo Ranch earned the Futurity Medium Farm Breeder of the Year title in 2017, 2018, and 2019, the 2021 Reserve Breeder of the Year, and the 2018 AOA Vintage Cup — making it one of the more decorated suri alpaca programs in Oregon.
For those searching for suri alpacas for sale in Oregon, Halo Ranch maintains a substantial herd that includes herdsires, breeding females, and foundation stock, with animals tracing back to well-regarded bloodlines in the suri world.
