Greatmews

Greatmews is a TICA-registered minuet cattery run by Linda Kinch, focused exclusively on the minuet breed since 2013. Located in Webster, Wisconsin, the cattery sits in the lake country of northwestern Wisconsin, roughly two hours northeast of the Twin Cities metro area.

Linda has concentrated solely on minuets since the cattery's founding, breeding both the standard short-legged variety and the taller nonstandard version, which carries the same distinctive round face and coat characteristics. Kittens are produced in both long and short coat lengths and come in a wide range of colors. All cats are registered with TICA, and Greatmews has been recognized on the TICA website as an example of the breed.

A key part of the program is kitten socialization. Kittens are kept with their families through at least 12 to 14 weeks before going to new homes, a practice Linda follows to help kittens develop confident, settled temperaments before the transition. The cattery has also been noted as a featured example of the breed on the TICA website.
