Four T Acres

Four T Acres Scottish Highland cattle in Burlington, Wisconsin, are raised in Racine County near Milwaukee. Jean has over ten years of experience breeding registered stock, is active with the American Highland Cattle Association, and ensures all breeding animals undergo routine health screenings including parasite control and hoof trimming.

The herd follows a rotational grazing system on lush pasture, with year-round access to shelter during harsh weather. Fields are divided into paddocks to allow pasture recovery and periodically support diverse forage growth. Calves are handled daily to foster calm temperaments, and they receive supplemental organic hay during winter months.

The farmstead has been in Jean’s family for two generations, reflecting a commitment to sustainable livestock stewardship. Occasional tours offer visitors a look into Highland cattle history and husbandry, and the resulting cattle are well suited to smallholdings or educational settings.
