Farm Cabin Alpacas & Babydoll Sheep raises alpacas and babydoll sheep on a family farm in Le Center, Minnesota, about an hour south of Minneapolis in the heart of southern Minnesota farm country. John and Corky Glisczinski launched the operation in 2018, building their barn in 2017 and welcoming their first females home in March of that year.

The herd has grown through deliberate choices, including acquiring grey males from a Wisconsin farm after attending an alpaca show in Kansas City, as John and Corky have worked to transition from pet-quality animals toward higher-fiber, higher-quality stock. Their first home-bred male cria arrived in 2022 and is being raised as a future herdsire. Visitors are welcome by appointment to meet the animals firsthand, and the farm also runs an on-site store offering alpaca fiber products for those interested in locally sourced fleece.
