Falster Farm Mini Cattle Ranch, run by Karl Falster in Winnsboro, Texas, has been raising registered miniature Hereford cattle since the late 1990s. The farm sits in Wood County in East Texas, roughly midway between Dallas and Shreveport and about 46 miles north of Tyler.

Karl and his family operate a small family farm with a deliberate focus on heirloom, line-bred genetics. The herd traces to the old breed of Hereford, kept to a classic frame size of 1 to 3 on the hip rather than being upsized toward modern standards. Selection priorities include docility, feed efficiency, and nutrient-dense beef, with bulls fertility tested annually. Both polled and horned lines are maintained, and the program is working toward A2A2 genetics. Frozen embryos and certified frozen semen are available alongside live animals.

Falster Farm is a Life Member of both the American Hereford Association and the Red Angus Association of America, with detailed pedigree records kept on each animal. Beyond miniature Hereford cattle for sale in East Texas, the farm also raises mid-size Red Angus and mini Jersey cattle, and offers services ranging from herd sire leasing to on-farm educational stays. The operation grows roughly 85 percent of its own food and avoids synthetic chemicals throughout its pastures and gardens.
