Faith and Fleece Alpacas raises alpacas in Somis, California, in Ventura County about 50 miles northwest of Los Angeles. The farm is owned and operated by Don Pellegrino, who began his alpaca work with a small property in Upland before growing the operation to a 25-acre spread in Ventura County.

The herd's primary focus is rare grey suri alpacas, with huacaya alpacas also part of the program. That specialization in the less common suri type has paid off on the show circuit — the farm earned multiple first-place ribbons, several championships, and a top-ten national high-point suri breeder award for medium farms in 2022.
