Faith & Family Farm

Faith & Family Farm raises Bernese mountain dogs in Gardner, Kansas, on a small family farm on the outskirts of the Kansas City metro. Jeff and Michelle Bolton started the program after falling in love with the breed and have been breeding Berners for several years.

Health and genetics are a central focus of the program. Breeding dogs must pass general and reproductive physicals and be genetically cleared for hereditary diseases before entering the program. Sires carry OFA hip and elbow evaluations, full genetic DNA panels through Paw Print Genetics, and PennHIP scoring, with the same testing standards applied to any outside stud dogs used. All puppies are AKC registered and come with a health guarantee.

The dogs live as full members of the Bolton household and are raised alongside children, other dogs, and farm animals. Puppies go through early neurological stimulation, structured socialization sessions, and a curriculum designed to produce confident, well-rounded dogs before they head to their families. The farm is open to visiting families, and Bernese mountain dog puppies from Faith & Family Farm have gone to homes across the United States.
