Elf-Paca Meadows LLC

Elf-Paca Meadows LLC raises alpacas on its farm in West Newfield, Maine, about an hour northwest of Portland. Lennie Foss started the operation in the fall of 2005 with just four animals, and the herd has since grown substantially into one of the more established alpaca farms in southwestern Maine.

The farm's breeding focus centers on gray and black fiber colors, and the herdsire roster reflects that priority with a lineup weighted toward true black, dark rose grey, and bay black animals. The farm is a member of the New England Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association, and its huacaya herd includes both foundation animals and active breeding stock.

Beyond raising alpacas for sale in Maine and the surrounding region, the farm operates a store offering fiber products and handmade alpaca goods. Those interested in alpacas for sale or simply farm life in southern Maine are welcome on the property on weekends by appointment.
