Elderwood Farms
Elderwood Farms raises huacaya alpacas in Millington, Tennessee, just north of Memphis. Austin Swain and Brandon Sigler started the program in 2013 as a small hobby farm, and it has since grown into a full-scale operation built around high-end genetics, show competition, and fiber production.
The farm maintains a deliberately multi-colored herd, with a noted focus on spotted and appaloosa patterning alongside a strong herdsire lineup. Their stud roster has collectively accumulated close to 50 show banners and over 100 blue ribbons across halter and fleece competitions. Elderwood is also a member of several regional and national alpaca organizations, including the Tennessee Alpaca Association and the Alpaca Owners Association, Inc.
Beyond breeding and showing, the farm offers mentorship for new alpaca owners, covering husbandry, nutrition, and program development. Anyone searching for alpacas for sale in Tennessee will find that Elderwood also produces fiber products from its herd and occasionally makes animals available for agritourism events and educational functions.
