Double W Ranch

Double W Ranch, owned by Charlotte and Steve Williams, raises miniature Hereford cattle across ranch land spanning Texas, Colorado, and New Mexico, with the home operation situated north of Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle, within reach of the wider High Plains region.

The Williams family transitioned to miniature Herefords in 1999, replacing a commercial herd in pursuit of smaller-scale, high-quality, grass-fed and custom-fed beef. That founding goal has shaped the herd ever since.

Showing cattle became part of the program beginning in 2005, and the ranch has developed a strong record in the show ring with champion bulls, heifers, cows, and steers recognized over the years. For those searching for miniature Hereford cattle in Texas, Double W Ranch holds lifetime membership in the American Hereford Association and is also affiliated with the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and the Miniature Hereford Breeders Association.
