Double J Highlands

Double J Highlands raises Scottish Highland cattle in New Alla, OK, Seminole County near Oklahoma City. Tim Jackson and Julia Jackson have been breeding these cattle for over fifteen years and maintain herd records with the American Highland Cattle Association.

The herd undergoes annual Johne’s and bovine viral diarrhea testing while cows receive hoof trimming and dental checks on a regular schedule. Their cattle are pasture-raised on rotational grazing fields and receive routine health screenings and hoof care. The herd stays in spacious barns during winter to ensure comfort and learn gentle handling from an early age.
