Diane Cossey

Diane Cossey is a breeder of Nigerian dwarf goats in New York. Her farm in Herkimer County and Central New York near Utica has been raising registered Nigerian dwarf goats for more than ten years. She maintains both American Dairy Goat Association registry standards and Ontario Goat Club memberships, with regular health screenings for CAE, CL and CL.

Her goats live in pasture-based pens with seasonal sheds, and each kid spends time in family settings from an early age. Socialization and enrichment include supervised weekend visits, obstacle courses, seasonal pasture rotations and care logs that track growth and temperament.

Visitors often note the playful nature of her herd, and several have earned breed shows ribbons for conformation. Diane tracks pedigrees carefully to promote genetic diversity and friendly behavior across her herd. Breeding lines are selected for consistent size, milk production and calm temperaments.
