Diamond M Aussies raises standard Australian shepherds from a small, family-owned operation in Bagley, Iowa, situated in west-central Iowa roughly an hour west of Ames. Owned by Melissa Means, the program has been producing AKC Australian shepherds since 2002, bringing well over two decades of focused breeding experience to the breed.

Health and genetics are a documented priority for the program. Breeding dogs are health and genetic tested, with OFA hip and elbow certifications on file.
