Desert Creek Canines

Desert Creek Canines, run by Brian Birkey, breeds Pembroke Welsh corgis and whippets in Sulphur Springs, Texas, about an hour east of Dallas in the heart of Northeast Texas.

Each breeding dog in the program undergoes DNA testing, and breeding pairs are selected with attention to genetics, health clearances, and temperament. Dogs are kept as household members with room to run and play, and puppies are socialized from an early age through exposure to varied sounds, people, and everyday experiences.
