Debra Michalski

Debra Michalski, Nubian goats, Washington, WA, Chelan County and the Wenatchee area near Seattle. She has been breeding dairy goats for more than a decade as a member of the American Dairy Goat Association, with regular health testing for caprine arthritis encephalitis and caseous lymphadenitis. Her breeding philosophy emphasizes gentle temperaments and consistent milk yields, selecting sires and dams on both health scores and dairy production records.

The herd lives on rotational pasture with open-air shelters, and kids are handled daily to build trust and ease. Many does in her program have earned milk production awards in local ADGA shows, and pedigrees include lines known for rich butterfat content.

Michalski’s small farm maintains a focus on sustainable practices and gentle animal care, with transparent records available to new homes. Her approach blends traditional husbandry with modern welfare standards to support both animal health and community engagement.
