Cynthia Wickliffe raises Nigerian dwarf dairy crosses in the Austin, Texas area, operating under the Harlequin Goats name in the Texas Hill Country. The program grew from a straightforward goal of keeping brush cleared and producing milk for home cheesemaking and soap, and it expanded after Cynthia and her husband Russell discovered that Texas is home to some of the strongest Nigerian dwarf herds in the country along with a lively show circuit.

The herd's focus sits squarely on producing animals that perform both in the show ring and at the milk pail, with soundness and overall health as the guiding criteria for selection. All adult animals carry registration with the American Dairy Goat Association, and many are dual-registered with the American Goat Society as well, giving buyers animals with full documentation from two recognized organizations. Harlequin Goats ships nationwide out of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport for buyers outside of Texas.
