Country Yorkies

Country Yorkies is a breeder of Maltese and Yorkshire terriers in Pelion, SC, Lexington County and the Midlands near Columbia. Cheryl Jones has over a decade of experience and participates in registry programs, including health screenings for every breeding dog.

Each puppy is raised inside our home with daily socialization and basic training to develop a calm and friendly temperament. Litters are kept intentionally small so each puppy receives individual attention during its critical early weeks. The kennel follows veterinary guidelines for nutrition, exercise and routine health checks in a clean, temperature-controlled setting.

Country Yorkies is a member of the American Kennel Club breeder program and adheres to ethical breeding standards. Several dogs have completed basic therapy training and accompany households during visits to local care facilities. Clients mention how quickly their new dog adapts and forms an affectionate bond, often participating in family life.
