Randee and Christopher Summers began on a smaller property in Delaware, Ohio before moving to their current, larger farm in Cardington in 2013, situated in central Ohio roughly an hour north of Columbus.

Randee Summers grew up in a rural Ohio household where her family kept chickens, horses, and a dairy goat herd, giving her a lifelong background in small-farm husbandry. The farm is NPIP-certified and operates as a true family-run outfit, with extended family contributing to day-to-day operations. Alongside their Ayam Cemani program, the farm raises a range of other rare and heritage poultry, including DeathLayers, silkies, Ameraucanas, and English Orpingtons.

The Ayam Cemani flock has been a particular point of pride for the farm, with the program focused on strong fibromelanistic presentation and stock that has produced national-level show winners over the years.
