Cool Meadow Farms

Cool Meadow Farms raises border collies in Tylertown, Mississippi, a small community in the southwestern part of the state roughly an hour south of Hattiesburg. Rachel Strite runs the program on a working family farm that also keeps Jersey cattle, beef cattle, and goats alongside the dogs.

The program breeds for both appearance and trainability, with bloodlines registered through ABCA and AKC. Border collie puppies in Mississippi from tested, dual-registered lines are the farm's core focus, and the emphasis on well-rounded dogs reflects the mixed farm environment in which they are raised and socialized from birth.
