Clayfarm Alpacas
Clayfarm Alpacas has been raising huacaya alpacas in Seymour, Indiana since December 2004, when Tom and Linda Blanford started the farm on family property in northern Jackson County — land originally purchased by Linda's father. Seymour sits in south-central Indiana, roughly 50 miles south of Indianapolis.
The herd is predominantly of Peruvian descent, with bloodlines drawn from Victor, Hemingway, Valedar, Grand Master, and Accoyo Amadeus. The farm's breeding program places a particular focus on fine-fleeced white huacayas, with genetics heavily influenced by the Hemiaccoyo lines developed by Timberland Alpacas, as well as those from Snowmass and Accoyo America. Clayfarm is also a member of the Indiana Alpaca Association.
For those searching for alpacas for sale in Indiana, Clayfarm Alpacas brings a multigenerational, family-run approach to the operation — Tom and Linda have raised their sons Drew and Erik alongside the herd on the same acreage that has been in the family for decades.
