Cheryl Stahl
Cheryl Stahl breeds dairy goats in Montana’s Treasure State near Billings. She has been raising healthy, well-socialized stock for more than ten years as a member of the American Dairy Goat Association and regularly enters her herd in state shows. Each doe and buck undergoes routine screening for CAE, CL and Johne’s disease, including annual checkups by a local veterinarian, and enjoys daily turnout on varied pasture.
Kids are introduced to gentle handling early, which helps build trust and ease their transition to busy family environments. The herd lives in well-ventilated barns with deep-bedded straw pens, clean water stations, and access to secure paddocks. Local owners appreciate the even-tempered nature of Stahl’s goats, their steady milk yields and consistent udder quality.
Founded on a century-old homestead, the farm follows rotational grazing, forages native grasses and maintains woodland shelter belts for shade. Stahl also selects breeding stock for temperament and udder conformation, aiming for reliable performance across seasons.
