Chatterhouse Farm

Chatterhouse Farm, Gypsy vanner, Aynor, SC, Horry County and the Grand Strand near Myrtle Beach. Chatterhouse Farm is run by Nathan Millwood and Gretchen Millwood, who have bred Gypsy vanner horses for over a decade and maintain membership in the American Gypsy Horse Club. Their foals come from bloodlines screened through regular vet health checks and conform to breed standards.

Horses are raised in pasture-based paddocks with daily turnout, gentle handling from birth and gradual exposure to farm life. The farm’s attention to early socialization helps each horse develop confidence and a calm temperament. Several mares and stallions carry championship bloodlines, and visits to local shows reflect the farm’s commitment to responsible breeding.

A family-run operation set against live oak groves, the farm emphasizes transparency with documented foaling journals and photo updates. Recent graduates from the farm have gone on to start under-saddle careers in dressage and driving, drawing praise from coastal trainers.
