Chappell Red Angus operates a 25-head cow-calf program in Mill Hall, Pennsylvania, in the heart of central PA near Lock Haven. Dan and Erica Chappell have been involved with red Angus cattle since 1989, making theirs one of the longer-running red Angus programs in the Northeast.

The operation places a deliberate focus on producing adaptable, structurally sound cattle with balanced performance and strong phenotypic traits. To bring high-quality genetics into the herd, the Chappells use a combination of natural breeding, artificial insemination, and embryo transfer. All animals are ultrasounded for carcass data and bulls are semen tested, giving buyers a detailed, data-backed picture of each animal.
