Casa Cattle Co, run by Jesse and Corinna Caron, raises registered belted Galloway cattle in Corinna, Maine, a rural community in the heart of central Maine roughly an hour north of Bangor. What started in 2007 as a small joint venture with a neighbor — just three animals — grew steadily as the family's involvement in 4-H and Maine's agricultural fair circuit deepened their commitment to the breed.

The operation spans about 38 acres of managed pasture divided into six permanent paddocks, with an additional 20 acres leased nearby. The Carons select for skeletal structure, calving ease, and maternal instinct, and they use artificial insemination with sires from across the country to broaden the genetic base of their belted Galloway herd. Bulls used in the program are registered, DNA tested, and hypotrichosis tested. The farm also runs a bull leasing program for producers who prefer not to maintain bulls year-round.

Show results have been part of Casa Cattle's story for years, with animals placing at Fryeburg Fair and the North American International Livestock Exposition. Corinna Caron also serves as Executive Director of the Belted Galloway Society, reflecting the family's deep involvement in the breed beyond their own farm.
