Christine and David Houseworth operate the farm on land with a remarkable backstory: the property is an original Revolutionary War bounty tract awarded to their ancestors, the King family, who were among the first to cultivate grapes on what is now the Cayuga Wine Trail and who kept sheep in the same pastures where alpacas graze today.
