Bullis Creek Ranch
Bullis Creek Ranch raises red Angus cattle in Nebraska's Sandhills, an operation built on generations of family ranching with roots stretching back to a family farm in Delevan, Illinois. Rob and his family carry that legacy forward at their working ranch near Valentine, in the heart of the Nebraska Sandhills region.
The red Angus program at Bullis Creek Ranch grew out of a deliberate crossbreeding history. The family ran registered Polled Herefords for years before incorporating Angus genetics in the late 1960s, then built a Limousin seedstock operation that expanded to around 150 females. A purebred red Angus herd was established in 1994 to supply genetics both for the ranch's own commercial cowherd and for neighboring cattlemen seeking quality bulls. From the start, the foundation was built on 100% 1A-classified breeding stock sourced from leading herds across the United States and Canada.
Buyers looking for red Angus cattle for sale in Nebraska will find a program that emphasizes traits the family describes as "necessities" — calving ease, growth, mothering ability, and moderate mature size — selected through both natural service and A.I. to industry-leading sires. Quality over quantity has guided the herd's development across every generation.
