Brigadoon Highlands

Brigadoon Highlands Scottish highland cattle are raised in Jacksonville, OR, within Jackson County and the Rogue Valley near Medford. Owner Michael Parker has worked with these cattle for many years on the farm’s historic property, following recognized breed association health protocols and routine genetic testing. Calves graze on open pastures with access to sheltered barns and are introduced to daily handling to encourage calm, friendly dispositions. The herd’s thick double coats are naturally suited to local winters, and rotational grazing supports pasture health, biodiversity, and resilience.
