Blue Ridge Mountain Dobermans

Blue Ridge Mountain Dobermans, Doberman pinschers, is based in Bristol, VA, in southwest Virginia near Roanoke. Owner Jill Luttrell oversees a breeding program that emphasizes sound temperament, correct structure and genetic diversity. With over a decade of experience, it holds membership in national and regional Doberman pinscher clubs and performs recommended health testing for hips, hearts and eyes.

Puppies grow up in a home environment with regular socialization, daily interaction and supervised outdoor time on their mountain property. The kennel’s setting along the ridge provides varied terrain for safe exercise, and many dogs accompany families on gentle hikes. Early training includes basic handling, exposure to household routines and introduction to busy sounds before puppies join new homes.

Several alumni have earned obedience or rally titles and join volunteers in community therapy visits. Each puppy is accompanied by a health record and guidance on nutrition, vaccinations and preventative care.
