Christopher Odgers and his family established the program with a clear preservation focus, built on foundational lines from two respected kennels: Highlander Deerhounds, whose principal brought more than 40 years of breed experience, and Lehigh Deerhounds, whose stud dog earned Best of Breed at the National Specialty twice.

The kennel holds an AKC Breeder of Merit designation and maintains active memberships in the Scottish Deerhound Club of America, the Midwest Scottish Deerhound Club, and the Lexington Kennel Club.
