The kennel traces its origins to 1969, when it was founded as a boarding, grooming, and training operation, and expanded into breeding Chinese shar-pei and miniature schnauzers in 1982 after the family acquired their first shar-pei from a kennel in Ohio.

Denise Beagle carries the program forward today, maintaining a focus on sound dispositions and championship bloodlines across both breeds. Dogs are kept on several fenced, grassy acres and the program participates in American Kennel Club conformation events, with the kennel having produced more than 100 champions in miniature schnauzers alone over the course of its show career.
