Billy Dan Lindley
Lindley Brahmans raises gray Brahman cattle in Sulphur Springs, Texas, a small agricultural community in Hopkins County about 75 miles east of Dallas. The operation was built by Billy Dan Lindley, a lifetime resident of Sulphur Springs who was a longtime member and past president of the American Brahman Breeders Association, an approved ABBA judge, and a recognized figure in Texas Brahman circles.
The program focused on gentle, quality gray Brahman cattle, a standard that earned the ranch repeated recognition from the Hopkins County Extension Service, including two Outstanding Beef Producer of the Year honors and the Outstanding Agriculturist Award. Billy Dan also served as president of the North East Texas Livestock Association and was a dedicated supporter of youth development through 4-H and FFA, receiving the 4-H Clover Award for nine years of service as an advisor. His commitment to the Texas Brahman youth community was further recognized by the Texas Junior Brahman Association.
The ranch remains a family operation rooted in Northeast Texas, carrying forward a reputation for brahman cattle for sale in Texas that was built over decades of hands-on ranching and active breed association involvement.
