Big Top Farm

Big Top Farm, wagyu cattle in Stanford, KY, in the Bluegrass region near Lexington, is a small family operation with deep roots in selective breeding. Julian Gander has over a decade of experience working with wagyu cattle, is a member of the American Wagyu Association and follows recommended health-testing protocols. Each animal is raised on fifty acres of mixed pasture and rotational grazing paddocks, with daily handling to encourage consistent temperament.

The herd includes offspring from nationally recognized sires, and calves receive early socialization around farm visitors. Nutrition is tailored to individual needs, combining forage with measured grain rations to support healthy growth and marbling development. The farm's emphasis on gentle handling and a calm environment aims to produce cattle well-suited for both exhibition and breeding programs. Big Top Farm also participates in regional agricultural fairs, where its cattle have consistently earned favorable feedback for conformation and disposition.
