Arrowhead Alpacas

Arrowhead Alpacas raises huacaya and suri alpacas on a 177-acre ranch in Powell, Wyoming, situated in the agricultural heart of northwest Wyoming near Cody. Eddie and Jan Sapp started the operation in 2005 with a seed herd of seven pregnant females and have since grown the herd to more than 150 animals across a range of natural fiber colors.

The program operates as a farm-to-fiber operation, with a deliberate focus on breeding quality animals and the fiber they produce. Alpaca for sale in Wyoming from a herd this size offers buyers a broad selection of huacaya and suri animals. Fiber from the ranch is processed into raw fleece, roving, yarn, and felt, with finished products available locally through Heartworks in Powell alongside work from other area artisans.
