Ariya Alpacas

Ariya Alpacas has been raising alpacas in Bolton-Ouest, Quebec since its founding in 2009, putting the farm well into its second decade of operation. The property sits in the Eastern Townships region, roughly an hour and a half east of Montreal.

Run by Janette Archambault and her partners, Ariya Alpacas has built its breeding program around a carefully selected roster of sire lines, including Snowmass Loro Piana, Everlasting Highlander, Divine Love, Pure Reserve XX, and Xclipse's Belenis. More recently, the herd has been complemented by the addition of Snowmass Lover's Spartan and Snowmass Mystic Highlander XX. Fleece quality is clearly central to the program's direction, with SGS fiber analysis from New Zealand used to evaluate offspring for low micron counts, low standard deviation, and high curvature.
