Alpacalypse Ranch LLC

Alpacalypse Ranch LLC alpacas are located in Pagosa Springs, CO in Archuleta County and the San Juan Mountains near Durango. Owned by Kathleen Conway, the ranch has been raising alpacas for several years and holds membership in the Alpaca Owners Association, with all animals enrolled in routine health screenings. Mothers and crias are monitored during birthing season in a barn outfitted with comfortable bedding and observation windows for gentle supervision.

The herd is cared for in a pasture-based setting where daily handling and gentle training help develop calm, friendly temperaments. The ranch practices rotational grazing to support pasture health and minimize environmental impact. Fleece grown here is skirted and graded on site before being sent to local spinners, reflecting the farm’s commitment to quality fiber. Regular farm visits allow guests to learn about alpaca husbandry and see how each animal thrives in its mountain environment.
