Allstar Labradors

Allstar Labradors has been raising Labrador retrievers in Newburgh, Indiana since the year 2000, making it one of the longer-running programs for Labrador retriever puppies in southwestern Indiana. The kennel sits in the Evansville metro area, about ten miles east of the city. Nancy Martin and her family run the operation with a stated philosophy of treating each dog and puppy as a member of the household, with the health and integrity of the breed kept front and center.

Breeding stock is drawn from proven championship lines, and the program registers all dogs and puppies with the AKC. The kennel focuses on the three AKC-recognized colors only — black, chocolate, and yellow — with current litters typically running black and chocolate. Allstar Labradors does not breed non-standard coat colors, holding to the position that doing so would introduce unwanted genetic mutations into the bloodline.

Puppies are socialized from birth, with early exposure to children, other animals, water, and varied sounds built into their daily routine. The kennel also takes care to match each puppy to a suitable home and owner personality before completing a placement.
