Ace's Aussies

Ace’s Aussies, Australian shepherds, Leipsic, OH, northwest Ohio near Toledo. Established by Josh L Palmer more than five years ago, the kennel is guided by American Kennel Club standards and its adult dogs undergo comprehensive health screenings for hips, elbows and eyes, with records available on request. The program extends beyond puppy placement, offering families advice on training, nutrition and ongoing health care as puppies grow into adulthood.

Puppies are raised in a family environment with daily socialization, gentle handling and exposure to varied sights, sounds and household routines. Adult dogs reside indoors with access to secure outdoor runs, receiving quarterly veterinary checkups, dental care and balanced nutrition tailored to each life stage. Many of their young dogs have excelled in local agility trials, herding workshops and basic obedience events, reflecting a focus on steadiness, intelligence and trainability. Temperament evaluations are conducted before placement, ensuring puppies fit smoothly into active homes or farm settings and contribute to long-term well-being.
