Abundant Joy Farm
Abundant Joy Farm raises suri alpacas in Lizton, Indiana, about 25 miles west of Indianapolis in Hendricks County. Alan Siktberg and his family founded the farm in 2021 with a focus on breeding show-quality animals and sharing them with the surrounding community.
The farm holds memberships with the Alpaca Owners Association, the Suri Network, and the Indiana Alpaca Association, reflecting a commitment to the broader suri alpaca community in Indiana and beyond. The foundation herd was sourced from breeders in Wisconsin, Colorado, and Indiana, bringing together genetics from multiple regions. In their second year of showing alpacas, the farm earned a Top 10 Suri Small Farm recognition from the Alpaca Owners Association.
Abundant Joy Farm also has deep roots in the rabbit world, having raised and shown Flemish giant rabbits since 1994, and holds recognition from the National Federation of Flemish Giant Breeders for breeding quality animals. As proud FFA Alumni, the Siktbergs actively support local FFA chapters and the Hendricks County 4-H Program, with mentoring the next generation of farmers a central part of how the farm operates.
