Service Terms & Facility Rules

At Next Horizon Land & Cattle in Longmont, Colorado, we carefully manage herd size so our natural pasture can provide strong nutrition through spring, summer, and fall. During winter and anytime conditions require it, we supplement with quality local hay. Cattle also have access to loose minerals, mineral blocks, Riomax tubs, and 20% high protein cubes to keep the herd easy to gather and handle.

All of our animals are handled daily, haltered, trained, and socialized for 2 to 3 hours each day during the week.

We maintain a close working relationship with a trusted local livestock veterinarian to ensure prompt care and support whenever needed. Our team, including our ranch hands, checks animals frequently throughout the day.

This boarding program allows for unlimited, respectful viewing from the private access road, plus three scheduled, accompanied visits each quarter.

As an added benefit, we can assist with Artificial Insemination of your cattle, along with our own.

We require all animals to have a completed Biosecurity Panel Screening if they were not previously housed under our care. The Biosecurity Panel Screening is to be completed upon arrival at our facility and at the owner's expense.
