About Dunn

Dunn could be described as a tiny giant among bulls. He has a very calm and quiet personality with people and with his fold, however, he is all bull when it comes time to do his main job. By doing these things, he sets a good example for his bull calves, as well as the other bull calves around him.
As for his other important attributes, Dunn is an 87.5% highland/dexter cross and a true micro bull, measuring at 36" at almost 8 years old(see picture).
UC Davis testing includes Chondro positive and coat color, which is yellow dun, wild type, recessive red (E+/e,Dh/N).
Dunn is a prolific herd sire and has thrown beautiful heifers and and bull calves of every color, both Chondro positive and negative.
In the current calving season, Dunn live covered up to ten cows and heifers. Although we also sell conventional straws stored at Hawkeye Breeder Services in Iowa.
A BSE was conducted and passed on 7-10-25.
