Arbuz is a Kanaani cat born in Holon, Israel. He is affectionate, intelligent, and highly independent, reflecting the natural character of this rare Israeli breed.

He loves fresh air and the outdoors, so I built a special terrace where he can safely explore, climb, and enjoy the sunshine. Curious and athletic, Arbuz is always interested in what is happening around him.

Despite his independent spirit, Arbuz is a gentle and loving cat who enjoys spending time with people. He is especially devoted to Haifa, his lifelong companion from the same cattery. Haifa is one month older, and the two have been together since kittenhood. Their bond remains as strong today as it was when they were young kittens.

Arbuz is also very social with other cats and has always been popular with the ladies. He currently shares his life with several feline companions and has a warm, affectionate personality that makes him easy to love.

One of Arbuz’s most unique traits is his quiet presence during moments of prayer and reflection. Whenever I pray, he often jumps onto a nearby cabinet and sits calmly beside me as if he wants to participate. Whether out of curiosity, companionship, or something deeper, these moments have always felt special to me.

As part of a rare breed preservation program, Arbuz helps represent the unique heritage of the Israeli Kanaani cat.
